I shared a picture of my pantry a little over a year ago.
Organized enough, certainly. But we’ve been eating beans several times a week, and I’ve expanded my repertoire. So, I decided I needed to separate my beans by type.
These are actually CD holders I got for $1 at WalMart. They did hold my DVDs on an open shelf under the TV, but after a year of constantly putting back movies the little ones pulled out for no reason, I found a new home for them and was left with 10 empty CD holders.
They work perfectly in my pantry. I can stack it two high and two deep.

But still see through the handle to read the label of the bin in back.

I can see through the side and know if I’m running low.

I even use it for my little bags of noodles. I get these 8 oz. bags for about a quarter, and they have stars, Os, and alphabet shapes. Great for soup or homemade Spaghettio’s

Compact, see through, easy to handly storage solution using what I already had on hand? Works for Me!

Love this. Thanks for sharing.
oooh , I like that , I had such a hard time visualizing it. Thank so much for sharing it !!
Since we moved out of my MIL’s, I’ve been working on my pantry. This is a great tip, and one I plan to use!
Looks good. I tend to buy 3kg (6 1/2 lb) bags of beans so I empty my beans out into big lidded containers.
I love your bean organization.Your Food Stamp Challenge was very useful. Although my family now only consists of my husband and I, it gave me some great ideas for vegetarian meals on a retiree’s income. Sorry about your husband losing his job.
I love it! With our pantry now we don’t have space, but once we do I’m stealing this idea.
By the way, where do you get pasta?
I usually buy whole wheat pasta or Ronzoni for dinner meals, but these little bags are great too. They’re usually in the ethnic or Mexican aisle, for a quarter or 3/$1 for an 8 oz. bag.
