Meanwhile, I know I’ve been away from the blog for a bit. I’ve been getting ready for Smart Shoppers Saturday, the reader’s conference Tiffany Ivanovsky from MyLitter.com set up to teach y’all how to coupon, make meals on a budget, and more.  It’s going to be a great event and the swag bags already are worth more than $50, with more loot coming in every day!

Seriously, you guys, I’ve been to her house. She is a couponing master and she’s going to teach a class on how she does it!

Last weekend Tiffany and I made 32 batches of homemade laundry detergent for an HE so each swag bag would have a sample.  We made 1600+ loads worth of laundry soap (and it only took two boxes of borax and 3 boxes of washing soda- it really is a CHEAP recipe!)
