The Grey {100 word Movie Review}

*spoiler alert*

The Grey stars Liam Neeson as an Alaskan hunter who’s hit with disaster.  He’s lost his wife and is on the verge of suicide, but changes his mind.

It’s about 7 guys who don’t survive a plane crash- they get eaten by wolves.  The movie’s theme?  There’s no God and this life is all you get, then you’ll be nothing and nowhere.  The acting is good, and the movie does pull you in.  The men seem to genuinely love their families.  There’s a lot of language, and some gore- it’s quite raw in places.

Bottom line: I cried, then everyone died.

Have you seen it?  I’d love to talk about it with you, leave a comment!

I love comments. Tell me what you think!

      I love Liam Neeson, too. It was a depressing movie, but not a bad movie. He really is a great actor. Definitely NOT a movie for kids or even older teens, IMO. There is a lot of nihilistic philosophical discussion as men who don’t believe in a Creator realize they are at the end of their lives.

    I was waiting for him to fight all the wolves though. Total let down. I did live the movie overall though, even through it was very sad.
