If you are willing to drive out of the city you can find local farms where you can pick your own or purchase already picked fresh fruits & veggies. Not sure if the Farmer’s Market on Airline Drive has returned after their fire a few years back, but that was always a good place to purchase as little or as much as you want.
The Airline Dirve FM is open. My office has fresh fruit for snacking and it is usually purchased from this FM.
