I’ve scoured the web (and Pinterest, natch) for pumpkin recipes to prepare for 31 Days of PUMPKINS!
There are some fabulous recipes out there but my current obsession is pumpkin candy. By the way, I had a pumpkin pie truffle at See’s Candy last night and they are to. die. for. RUN to the mall and sample one if you have a See’s nearby (oh, and they give out free samples to everyone who walks through the door!)
There is no way I can recreate the creativity of these cooks and bloggers so I’m just going to link to them and dream about pumpkin chai fudge, mkay? (Frugal tip! Buy cardamom at the Indian or Asian markets and it is super cheap. And makes a fabulous dal.)
Then maybe I’ll make some pumpkin candied popcorn. Imagine this as a popcorn ball, LOVE! (Another frugal tip: if you don’t have brown rice syrup, use Karo corn syrup. Karo brand is HFCS-free last time I checked!)
Finally, if Bacon Pecan Pie isn’t your thing, try Cranberry Pecan Pumpkin Tart. All the best parts of Thanksgiving dinner. In a tart. Swoon!
Final frugal tip- best prices for pumpkins I’ve seen was at Trader Joe’s, $2.99 each.
What’s your favorite pumpkin treat? Pie, muffins, pumpkin spiced latte, or something else?

I love comments. Tell me what you think!
