    The Healthy Indian Diet

I've been more and more interested in trying and making Indian food lately.  I make Mark Bittman's dal and even the neighbor kids like it.  But I don't know much about the cuisine and all of the recipes I've cooked actually come from old white guys (Bittman, and Andrew Weil.) Indian ...

On the Hunt

in Mama Says Randomness

Last year I bought a book about celebrating the Jesse Tree on clearance after Christmas.

I jealously guarded it all year long.

I just saw it last week.

Today is Dec. 1 and it’s missing!

If you need me, I’ll be organizing my bookshelves.  If you know any homeschoolers, you’ll know this is an all day task!

Why are little things like this so aggravating?

If you have a favorite online Jesse tree resource, would you leave me a link in the comments?  My house may have eaten the book!

Oh,no! I really know that feeling. We just moved a bunch of bookshelves into our breakfast nook to create an actual library and now I cannot find anything! I really should be busy organizing those shelves, but I have been too busy decorating for Christmas, sewing and baking lately. The only reason I am not in a panic trying to find our Christmas books is that we bagged them all up and put them in storage with our Christmas decorations last year so that they would seem fresh and new again this year. ;)

Here is a link or two that might help a bit with your Jesse Tree dilemma.

Thanks so much! All of our Christmas story books, Nativity books, etc. are in with the Christmas decorations, but I kept the Jesse book out on purpose because we don’t decorate until Gaudate Sunday (3rd Sun. of Advent). Thanks for the links!
