* Mothers should always have slip on shoes readily available.
* When a child calls in the middle of the night, mothers should take a split second to put them on.
* Midnight calls usually involve bodily fluids of some kind.
* And you just don’t want to step in that.
* The neighborhood kids have been in public school has been in session for one week, and we’re already sick.
* There is a lot of towel laundry in my future.
* Counting my blessings: a husband who gets off work at 3 pm so I can sleep and my very own washer and dryer. Oh, and the carpet cleaner. Now that was a good purchase.
See ya around when this bug passes on!

We are all just recovering from our annual round of the back-to-school plague. Fevers finally broke over the weekend and everyone is finally feeling much better. I hope you all recover quickly!
Hope everyone feels better soon! Nothing worse than those middle-of-the-night throw-up sessions.
Praying that everyone feels better soon. The flu is running through our schools and BOTH of my kids have been sick with the crud and fever, thankfully not the flu… yet.
Wow, hope everyone feels better soon! Oh how I remember those days.
Ugh. Hang in there.
You have my sympathy.
And yes, moments like this make me very grateful for my washing machine. And husband of course.
Another item I’m thankful for – leather couches. We got them (very) used and they’re not in the best of condition, but they are great for a houseful of kids!
