    Good tips. We are too far inland to be affected to badly by hurricanes, but a tornado or ice storm could be a big problem.

    Reason # 546 why we moved to Maine. By the time a hurricane gets this far north, it is pretty weak. We are well prepared for ice and snow storms with a full house generator and enough food supplies for the army (I like stocking up).
    Hope all your preparation is for naught, that is, the storm misses you and you don’t need it. But if it does, I agree that being prepared is a far better situation than not having lights, food, or the means to go somewhere else.
