Blogging will be light this week.
(Side note: It was so very helpful of my daughter to tell me, after discovery, that her best friend just had them, too. The best friend that my daughter has had sleepovers at twice this month.)

It must be the week for it. I have just had to inform my family that Miss 13 has them. They are the blight of my Australian summer. We have had a long day and feel for you. I have told Miss 13 that if she is infested one more time the long locks go! Hugs.
Oh, yuk. It is the nature of childhood though, I think.
You’ll all get through it.
I am so very grateful for my faithful washer and dryer! You can imagine the mountain of laundry involved – bedding, clothes, towels, then more towels because everyone needs to have their hair washed and done then washed again later. And more bedding because I have to wash all the pillowcases after doing the Cetaphil, which stuck to the cases.
And I was already behind because of the holiday and sickness. OK, also because I’m a terribly lazy procrastinator who sat on the couch with her sick boy. He’s 10 years old, and wanted his mama. I indulged (MYSELF) – who knows how much longer he’ll be enough of a little boy to want his mama? He’ll be a teen before I know it.
There is an herbal approach to this if you’re interested. Also-you can put stuffed animals in the freezer overnight to kill the one on your toys. Of course here in Denver, we leave the blankets in the car overnight when the low is 7 degrees.
At least it isn’t bed bugs.
I used tea tree oil. Is there another herbal approach? The Cetaphil method seemed to work great. The OTC overpriced pesticide- not so much.
