    Julia is One!

Julianna is one year old today!  Hard to believe it was a year ago that her Daddy had to catch her in the bathroom. She is still a little nursing piglet.  She wears a size 5 shoe.  Her favorite game is peek-a-boo, and her favorite toy is a ball.  Her favorite food ...

Driving Means Controlling Yourself

by Milehimama on December 21, 2009

We’re busy preparing for Christmas around here.  The shopping is done, but the tree is still in its box, the stockings are in a heap in the living room, the cookies have yet to be mixed and baked, and I set my lovely bead garland on fire.  So blogging will be light.

After shopping this weekend, I’m going to use my blog as a force for good.  To all you drivers out there, in the frantic holiday rush:

Road rage is a sin.

36 pages on how driving can affect your spiritual life.  Talk amongst yourselves.

My sweet friend experienced parking lot rage and the teen driving flipped her double birds. She walked over to the car, and read him the riot act (no cursing — she’s Christian), ending with “How would you like someone to do that to your mama?” She got an apology and perhaps really educated one young man. ;)
