Stop SOPA

You might have noticed that you can’t access a lot of your favorite sites. Wikipedia, Craigslist, bloggers- even Google has blocked out their logo.

Today is a symbolic day of protest against the Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA). SOPA is poorly written and will break the internet. If SOPA passes, you won’t have Facebook. Yeah, that’s an unimaginable world, isn’t it? ;)

Here’s a little more about it:

Do me a favor? Look up your Senator on this list, and just make a quick phone call or send an email. Tell them SOPA is bad for internet and bad for the economy, and you don’t want it passed.

Got an extra 5 minutes?  Contact both of your senators. It’s important.

WHATTT? Life with out Facebook-oh no! We might actually have to TALK to each other :) ))
JK-I agree that SOPA is very poorly written. Hopefully we will get this stopped and they will go back to the drawing board and draft something that would work.

We are told that SOPA only targets non-US or foreign sites but who cares, there are no borders on the internet. So all sites are US sites the same as they are UK sites, German site, etc. All sites are global by the very nature of the internet so it will absolutely affect those of us in the US.
