Comments for your commenters:

Becky - aarrrrgh! My 12 year old does that. Last night, in fact!

Mary Alice - yes, and then the laundry that lands on the bed MUST get folded and put away BEFORE we go back to bed tonight, right? (In theory, anyway!)

Suze - oh, cute...I'm glad, for the sake of all of you, that the bouncing coin isn't a big issue anymore. So sorry your household is coping with Alzheimers.

Every morning the beds are made with dad's assistance and many stories about National Service. Every day is the same routine as dad has had Alzheimer's for a while now and order is required to keep him on track. He has finally relaxed about the bouncing coin thing though.

I always start housecleaning with making the bed. Its the biggest thing in the room, so its the most dramatic transformation I can make in 5 minutes. Anyway, thats where I do all of my laundry sorting and folding, which is the second thing I do when I clean house.

When I was in high school I slept in a sleeping bad on top of my made-up bed. Every morning I got out of the sleeping bag, rolled it up and put it in my closet and enjoyed my already made bed :)
